Trade Services Tastemakers Campaign

The Project: The Trade Services program within holds a monthly Designer of the Month recognition. To culminate the entire year, a Designer of the Year awards campaign evolved. This campaign would include photo submissions from interior designers, a judges deliberation process among 3 celebrity judges, and finally an awards ceremony for the 6 winners of the different categories. The event at the end would not only invite the winners, but the judges, their guests, bloggers, and press to the event held at the Palihouse in West Hollywood, California.

The entire campaign spanned 6 months, from beginning to end. I came up with the idea of giving it its own identity to include a logo. This is the first of many future Designer of the Year campaigns. I developed a logo for the campaign as well as each award, later used for step-and-repeat banners, onsite banners, emails, badges, trophies, photo books, social assets and more.

Logo: As the first of its kind, the campaign was in need of a logo. I decided to also create a lockup for each individual award as well which I based off the campaign logo.
